I recently solved this problem here. If memory serves me right, you
must first choose a PAL screenmode, then plug a TV or 15khz
monitor into the native video port to see what's happening. Beneath
that bootscreen is a 15khz WB screen, appearing on the native port
which asks you what sort of display you want as default, after
choosing [VGA] workbench will load. On WB, there should now be one
BVision screenmode to choose from in the screenmode settings after
which you can dump the 15khz display again.
